The opening ceremony was attended by the Russian Minister of Culture Alexander Avdeev, President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Arts Tair Salakhov. The curator of the contemporary Russian art display titled Victory Over the Future is Olga Sviblova, the commissioner – Vasily Tsereteli.
